WIROLL project gets support from Hazitek programme

The WIROLL project aims to develop new flat-rolled wire products through research into the rolling process and the design of advanced software for calculating the number of passes.
Led by VINCO, in collaboration with Mondragon Unibertsitatea, the project aims to optimise the rolling process, improve product quality and expand the company's portfolio with applications in sectors such as automotive and household appliances.
Thanks to digital simulation, process monitoring and the development of analytical models, more efficient production has been achieved, reducing waste and improving the accuracy of rolling parameters.
In addition, the software developed allows better control of the process, reducing lead times and costs, and positioning VINCO on the market with an innovative solution of high technological value.
